Sony has announced the release date for the upcoming Playstation exclusive Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. The date of release for the game is October 23 for North America and Europe. No price point has been given for the PS3 or Vita versions, but I would assume a standard edition will run you about $64 after tax in the United States.

Two new characters are to be announced tonight, check out the roster list to see who is already set to be the game and to see who the new characters are after they are announced.
