Halo 4 Legendary Edition Xbox 360 Officially Announced

I’m sure most of you have heard the rumors about Microsoft posting a new Xbox 360 console for Halo 4 on their website, then promptly removing the listing. Now that rumor is fact, and the console will be released along with Halo 4 on November 6, 2012. The set comes with an Xbox 360 console, a 320 GB hard drive, two Xbox 360 controllers, a wired Xbox 360 headset, both in-game and avatar DLC, and of course a copy of Halo 4. The console and controllers are both transparent and Halo 4 themed, will have blue lights, and the console (much like the Halo Reach console) will make Halo-themed noises when the buttons are pressed.

There will also be Halo 4 controllers sold separately that will be released October 21. These controllers will differ from the ones in the the console pack, but will nonetheless be Halo 4 themed.

The console pack will set you back $400, the separate controllers will set you back $60.
