Supermassive Games’ Executive Creative Director Will Byles announced a new game today exclusively made for the Playstation Move. The game is called “Until Dawn” and is supposed to bring a new horror experience to the Playstation Move.
”On the anniversary of their friends’ disappearance, a group of classmates visit the site of the mystery to bury their ghosts and get some closure. Little do they know, they’ll end up burying each other instead…”
Byles states that the game is based on classic horror films such as Friday the 13th, SCREAM, and Halloween. He also says:
“Just like in classic horror films it’s isolated, the power’s out and the phones don’t work! You’ll play through the story as multiple characters, sometimes with a friend and sometimes on your own to discover who it is that’s intent on killing off you and your friends. It’s up to you how you play, so we don’t know how your story will go or who’ll be there with you at the end.”
Byles also says that the game will utilize the Move in a very natural way. It will be your flashlight guiding you through dark areas and map your movements onto the character in the game. He says “we expect that Until Dawn will draw you in with its characters, chilling setting and shocking, twisted story.” The game is obviously a Playstation 3 exclusive title and will be out sometime next year.
