Recently Hideo Kojima and Konami announced that the next game in the Metal Gear Solid series would be “Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes”. I previous wrote a little bit on this subject, but there is more information coming in from PAX on the game, including gameplay and a trailer.

So we know for sure that this game will be released on the Playstation 3, but it may also come out on the Xbox 360 and the PC. Kojima and Konami have also stated that Ground Zeroes will be a prologue. No commitment on an official Metal Gear Solid 5 has come about yet, but it may be in the works someday.
