Re-Logic has announced that their hit PC game Terraria is now coming to consoles in 2013. The game will be available on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
The game is coming to consoles thanks to developer Engine Software and publisher 505 games. It will not be a direct port either, there will be new content added into the console versions. So there is incentive to grab it up on consoles even if you already have the PC version.
Terraria creator Andrew Spinks says about the partnership with 505 games:
“I can’t say how excited I am to finally have Terraria come to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3! To see it come so far is a complete shock, especially after such humble beginnings. It’s always been my dream to have as many people as possible know and enjoy Terraria as much as I have, and this is another big step in that direction! It’s been awesome working with 505 Games, and I can’t wait for everyone to see the additional features that they’ve been able to bring to this new edition of the game.”
So stay on the lookout for more information on this subject as it develops, it’s sure to be a hit title on consoles!
