Sony announced a new PlayStation 3 model at Toyko Game Show this year that will be available later this year in North America and Europe. The new model, shown above, will come in black and white, although white will only be available in Japan.
As far as specs go, the new model is supposedly 20% lighter and slimmer than the current slim PS3′s. Below are the details:

500 GB PS3? I want it, I WANT IT NOW! XD I could actually use all that data, with as much data I used on my PS2 Memory cards…I could definitely use that.
Yea, it’s a lot and it’s a very good thing. Mine is a 250gb and it works well for me but I don’t download a lot.
