Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software, announced last night via Twitter that the Mechromancer would be out a week early.
So - here's the surprise, Mechromancer for Borderlands 2 is ready about a week earlier than I promised. Oct 9, all platforms. Woo!

The Mechromancer was announced awhile back as the fifth playable character in Borderlands 2. She is now available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for download. If you didn’t pre-order the game, the content will cost you $10 or 800MSP.
