Xbox Live is being updated yet again, and they’d like a lucky few to test it out before the official update drops this fall. Microsoft would like testers to gain early access to the update and fill them on on what they think of the new features.
Microsoft states:
“The beta is an early build of the product and enables Microsoft to gather important feedback from customers and to test new features, such as voice commands and Bing voice search in new languages. All participants who register for this beta will be required to agree and adhere to an NDA that will not allow them to speak or write about the experience.“
There isn’t a lot of room in the beta, so sign up soon. If you are selected, the update will be pushed to your Xbox when the beta period begins. Some of the new features include:
- Internet Explorer for Xbox
- Personalized dashboard recommendations
- Enhanced category search and discovery features
To sign up for the beta, go here. You’ll have to sign in an create a profile if you have not done so already, then agree to the NDA and fill out a small survey of information. They will let you know immediately if you have been chosen or not and give you instructions on what to do next.
