Let’s face it, we game a lot, we don’t have much time for anything else. We turn into lazy slouches that would be happy to just eat sit down and play games ‘till the dawn of time, which doesn’t sound like a bad thing at all. Thing is, that between now and the end of time, we may be hit by a zombie apocalypse and you don’t want to face it unprepared. So here are two ways you can prepare for the endless hordes of the undead.
During our busy lives we often barely find time to play games, and even less, find time for exercise. It is obvious that most video games aren’t physically engaging (unless we get frustrated), but what we can do is fit in some simple exercises and stretches. We can always find time in between loading screens and matchmaking to relax and stretch our necks a little so our necks don’t tense up so much while we play, even fit in arm and leg stretches to prevent sore joints.
Another thing that we can make a little change is the snacks we eat – from trading a bag of chips for some pistachios or a cup of fat-free yogurt, to putting down the carbonated drinks for water. I hope these little tips help many of you out as it has helped me. By no means am I asking you to join a Yoga class, or sacrifice taste for health, It’s the little choices we make throughout the day that have the biggest impact on our lives in the long run. Keep in mind that it really isn’t as hard as it seems to make improvements in our lifestyle so that you don’t have to end up as zombie chow.
