Capcom and Valve are teaming up to add some interesting new content to the PC versions of Resident Evil 6 and Left 4 Dead 2.
Resident Evil 6 will be getting content that adds the survivors from Left 4 Dead 2 as playable characters in the games mercenaries mode. So players can choose to play as either Coach, Ellis, Nick, or Rochelle while battling it out in mercenaries mode. That’s not all, a mini tank and the witch have been added as enemies as well, so watch out.
Left 4 Dead 2 will be gaining some new enemies from Resident Evil 6 – The Lepotitsa, the Napad, and the Ogroman. Apparently the enemies were created with the Steam Workshop tools so they fit right into the game seamlessly.
Valve’s Chet Faliszek states;
We’re huge Resident Evil fans, so when the opportunity arose to work directly with Capcom to combine L4D2 and RE6, we jumped at it.
Resident Evil 6 owners will be getting their content on April 5 while Left 4 Dead 2 owners will be getting theirs later this Spring, both only being available for PC. Both content packs will be free of change.
