LSZ Game of the Year Awards 2014: Best Soundtrack

LSZ GotY 2014: Best Soundtrack

Kelly’s Choice:

Child of Light featured a brilliantly beautiful soundtrack, one which I found could not be overlooked. The game itself has a fairy tale/story book theme and the musical accompaniment fit that theme perfectly. This soundtrack stands out to me as the best soundtrack of the year, and thus it is deserving of this award.

Fysh’s Choice:

For me, Transistor was the most obvious choice by a landslide for best soundtrack of the year. Darren Korb put together one of the most haunting and beautifully melodic OST’s ever composed, and Ashley Barret lends her outstanding vocal talent to to bring out the highlight tracks of the game. No other soundtrack has had more of an impact or stuck with me as much as this one this year.

    • Definitely! I have the soundtrack on one of my Spotify playlists, I love it!

As for Transistor, I too have yet to play it all the way through though I have played about 2 hours of it. The soundtrack is brilliant and Fysh really loved the game and it’s OST 🙂
